Directions

Cooking Instructions: Find desired serving in the rice measurement chart below. 2. Optional: Rinse rice in water until water becomes clear. 3. Bring water to boil in a saucepan. 4. Stir in rice, cover with lid, and simmer on low for 15-20 minutes or until moisture absorbed. 5. Remove from heat, fluff and serve. Note: For softer rice and 1/4 cup more water and cook for 5 minutes longer. For firmer rice add 1/4 less water and cook for 5 minute less. Rice Cooker: Follow the rice cooker directions to use the rice measurement chart below. 2. Optional: Rinse rice in water until water becomes clear. 3. Add rice and water, stir, close lid and start rice cooked. Use white rice setting if available. 4. Rice is ready when rice cooked switches to warm setting. Fluff and serve. Note: Rice to water ratio varies by rice cooker. Rice Measurement Chart: Rice (Uncooked): 1 cup; 1-3/4 cups water; 3 cups yields (cooked rice); 4 servings (1/4 cup uncooked rice per serving. Rice (Uncooked): 2 cup; 3 cups water; 6 cups yields (cooked rice); 8 servings (1/4 cup uncooked rice per serving. Rice (Uncooked): 3 cup; 4-1/2 cups water; 9 cups yields (cooked rice); 12 servings (1/4 cup uncooked rice per serving.
